Review of this happening tonight.
I really want this book. I went to Borders yesterday to pick up some books I had ordered, and saw this. It is such a well put together, organized view of a significant force in the indie music circuit. So, it is appears our friends at 24hourpartypooper will be reviewing it tonight—no matter, as I’m already hooked. With a wonderful flurry of photos, interviews, and narrative from those who were there, Our Noise is comprehensive and playful at once. It reads like a thoughtful set of liner notes on a record of daring music breakthroughs.
